Today we’re taking a closer look at a company I like to call “the most boring quality compounder.” Rollins is the kind of business that quietly compounds in the background while almost nobody talks about it. So of course I had to cover it in a previous deep dive and add it to my buy list.
But since many investors have probably never even heard of Rollins, let’s first take a look at what we’re actually dealing with.
Rollins is a leading pest control company that stands out for its long-term focus, consistent growth and highly resilient business model. Over the past 25 years, it has made its way through one crisis after another without even flinching and delivered an annual return of around 19%.
But now let’s focus on what could come next. Rollins is currently facing some headwinds and its stock fell by almost 15% following the release of its Q2 results. This raises the question of whether the company can continue performing as well as it has over the past decades. And of course we should also look at the price at which the stock could become attractive for long-term investors.
